Join us at Akron Makerspace for an Earth Zine Day Celebration!

Guest Speaker
Josie Krampitz 
Krampitz is an illustrator, designer and traditional printmaker based out of Cleveland, OH. Krampitz studied Print Media and Photography at Kent State University, where they started participating in zine exchanges and print fairs. Krampitz also teaches a variety of traditional and digital printing methods through Zygote Press. Currently, Krampitz is working on creating a collaborative zine project with the Queer Artists Coalition of Cleveland, set to be released quarterly. The first issue will come out in June and posted to the QuACC Instagram account.

Parking
Enter Canal Place through the entrance near Missing Falls Brewery. Any parking spot past the archway is available for visitor parking.

How do I get to Akron Makerspace?
Enter building 4 via the glass doors at the top of the ramp on the left (look for metal Akron Makerspace sign). Follow the orange line on the floor to the freight elevator. Follow the instructions in the elevator to get to floor 5. Akron Makerspace is directly in front of the elevator on floor 5. Watch this video. 

FYI
On the first floor there is a large garage door that security closes and locks between 5 and 6 pm. To the left of this door there is a double man door with a push button combination. If the garage door is locked, you will need to enter though this one. The code is 5-4-3-2-1 then turn and pull on the handle.
