PRIDE 2026 Equity March

September 14, 2026

(Aug. 22, 2026) In support of PRIDE, equal rights and inclusion for all, AAF-Akron participated in Akron’s Tenth Equity March. We enjoyed sunny skies, joyful crowds and even ran into City of Akron Mayor Shammas Malik.

Participants donned limited edition PRIDE AAF t-shirts designed by Janae Droder, AAF-Akron Partnership and Mosaic Chair.

A PRIDE After Party at Circle of 5ths was hosted and DJ’ed by Timothy Baxter, AAF-Akron Communications Chair.

Special AAF PRIDE patches created by Lauren Moore from Ren Fiber Arts were given out.
