AAF-Akron and NSME (the Akron/Canton Chapter of the National Sales & Marketing Executives hosted their seventh annual Merry Mingle on Thursday, Nov. 21 at Waterloo Restaurant & Catering in Akron.
Members of the Greater Akron marketing community networked at this one-of-a-kind holiday social to support a local non-profit organization. This year, all event proceeds benefited Diva Donations – a formal clothing closet for underserved junior high–college students. Their mission is to alleviate financial strain on families during special events, encourage youth to pay it forward by volunteering, and foster leadership and civic responsibility.
The event raised $600. Plus, a $1,000 surprise donation was made by Tim Dimoff through Silent Angels.
Anyone who couldn’t attend the event is invited to support the charity by donating online.
