Cecilia’s Big Ten!

Celebrate Cecilia Sveda’s decade as Executive Director at a good old-fashioned ice cream social!

Chill Artisan Ice Cream is making her special flavor called “Cecilia’s Summer S’mores.” This cool treat of vanilla, graham cracker and swirls of honey and fudge will be available for the entire month of July–AKA National Ice Cream month. Chill will donate a portion of all sales of this flavor to the Susan B. Kosich Endowed Scholarship for Marketing Communications at Akron Community Foundation. So spread the word, get your licks in and help grow our scholarship!

Your ticket to this event benefits the scholarship. Can’t attend? You can still give online. Or stop by Chill in Akron anytime during July and buy Cecilia’s special flavor. Your online donation fully supports the scholarship.

About the Scholarship
The Susan B. Kosich Endowed Scholarship for Marketing Communications was permanently endowed in February 2025 at the Akron Community Foundation. The endowed fund joins more than 900 charitable funds to benefit nonprofits throughout the community.
Applications will open in the fall. Northeast Ohio college students pursuing a communications-related degree will be able to apply through the Akron Community Foundation portal. We will award the first scholarship next year at the 2026 American Advertising Awards.

We need your support so we can grow the scholarship to serve students for generations. Any size donation is valued and all donations are tax deductible. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of students!
