Gabrielle Seigfried from The University of Akron won Student Best of Show for Wildwood Packaging.

Two Professionals and Five Students Win District ADDYs!

AAF-Akron is pleased to announce that Akron American Advertising Award entrants won ADDYs at the Fifth District American Advertising Awards competition, held virtually in mid March.

Appleridge Productions won a Silver ADDY for One Pill Can Kill for Hope 360. Clever won both a Silver and a Mosaic ADDY for Alta Black History Month done for Alta Care Group. They also won a Silver ADDY for Adchella done for AAF-Akron.

Gabrielle Seigfried from The University of Akron won Student Best of Show for Wildwood Packaging. She also won a Silver ADDY for Chill Brand Identity. Alex Miller from Kent State University won a Gold ADDY for Ray Ban website and a Silver ADDY for City of Ember. Brianna Kean and The University of Akron 2023 Design team won a Gold ADDY for Shift & Align Exhibition. Marc Smith Jr and Taylor Smith, also from The University of Akron, each won Silver ADDYs for Square Records Brand Redesign and Last Unicorn packaging, respectively.

About the District Five competition
The District Five competition is a second tier of the national American Advertising Awards that annually recognizes and rewards the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. The fifth district represents professional advertising associations and college chapters throughout Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. Gold winners from districts throughout the country are automatically forwarded to the third and final tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. National judging takes place virtually in April, with winners being announced at the American Advertising Awards Reception & Gala on May 31 at the annual AAF-National ADMERICA conference in Salt Lake City, UT.
