About the District Five competition
The District Five competition is a second tier of the national American Advertising Awards that annually recognizes and rewards the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. The fifth district represents professional advertising associations and college chapters throughout Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. Gold winners from districts throughout the country are automatically forwarded to the third and final tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. National judging takes place virtually in April, with winners being announced at the American Advertising Awards Reception & Gala on June 2 at the annual AAF-National ADMERICA conference in St. Louis, MO.
